TulsaboyMemberUsing MobiOne 2.3.0 (and I think it is great! Good job, developers!)
This problem does not happen with IOS apps using the same mobi
files, so it seems to be just an Android issue. There are actually two problems, but I think they are probably
related and may have the same source. I am testing my app with
4 different Android devices, two phones and two tablets, and
they all behave this way.I have an app that has 10 different audio files (each a book
chapter) on one page, each with their own audio play button
that plays an mp3 file within the app.(FIRST PROBLEM): When I have pushed a sufficient number of the
audio buttons (this number varies with the device, from 7
buttons to over 30), they quit working. They still change the
way they look, to indicate the file is playing, but it does not
play.(SECOND PROBLEM): After pushing a sufficient number of the
audio buttons (this also varies, I have experienced it with
only pushing a few, but it varies), THEN exiting that page, by
either pushing the “Back” button in the app, or by pushing the
back arrow key on the device, THEN opening another page and
touching a link going to an outside web page URL, THEN all the
audio files that were previously selected ALL BEGIN PLAYING AT
THE SAME TIME. This noise playing is (almost always) stopped by
pushing the back arrow on the device. My guess is that the first problem is caused by the audio files
not being properly closed when another one is selected. So they
quit playing when the device runs out of available memory to
play another audio file. Then somehow (the second problem) is
triggered when calling the outside URL, that causes all the
(still unclosed) audio files to start playing at the same time.I am forwarding mobi files to support which make the app that
exhibits this behavior.Thanks!
TulsaboyMemberProblem is still there using 2.3.1. I hope I have submitted enough files and information to help the developers replicate this problem. Thanks!
EbpMemberi think audio-player widget is screwed up. I created native app to play radio. If someone call me on my phone radio is still playing. It should stop so that is why I think audio-player widget is screwed up. I’m waiting from app developers to confirm this and let us know when is going to be fix.
