Hi,

Ive just upgraded from MyEclipse 4.1, and everything has gone very well except this one tiny issue. The background of the XML struts-config editor always seems to be white when i’m expecting it to be black. All other editors obey the global background color set in General > Editors > Text Editors except this one.

Is there a setting i’m missing, or is this a bug?

Did you double check your background settings and make sure they were balck?

Yes, i’m sure the global background color in General > Editors > Text Editors is set to black. I cannot find any other background colors, other than those that set the background for individiual elements of the syntax (these work ok).

I see the issue too, do you see the black bar along the left hand side too when viewing the source of a struts-config.xml file?

Where the line numbers are? I do indeed. If i change the background to say, red, that gutter becomes red also.

Another thing i’ve just noticed. If you change the color to black or whatever when you have such a file open, the background does correctly change. Its only when the editor is closed, then re-opened does it revert to white.
