If you are using a 64-bit installation of MyEclipse, prior to release 2013 SR2, on OS X 10.8 along with an installation of JDK 1.7, the MyEclipse activation will not “stick” and you will be repeatedly asked to activate every time you start MyEclipse. This problem does not affect any other configuration of MyEclipse.
Possible Fixes:
Use a 32-bt install of MyEclipse.
or
a) Upgrade to MyEclipse 2013 SR1 if you aren’t using it already – this fix will only work for MyEclipse 2013 SR1.
b) Download the attached archived update site (you must be logged in to see this site).
c) Go to Help > Install from Site and click Add to point to the saved site and give it a suitable name. Make sure this site is selected in the “Work with” combo.
d) Uncheck “Group items by category” and select “MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench” as shown below. Proceed to through the wizard and click Finish to install an updated plugin which will fix the problem.
