Is it possible to install Actuate BIRT Designer Professional (v11.0.4) in MyEclipse(V10)?
I’ve tried within the MyEclipse Configuration Center under Software.
Under personal sites I added the link that has been provived by Actuate. I can choose the components that I want to install.
But on validation I get the following message:
Profiel contain errors.
followed by
Bad Update sites
Cannot satisfy dependency.I chose for more than one component.
Is it possible to install Actuate BIRT Designer Professional on MyEclipse? Any suggestions?
Unfortunately due to the fact that the report designer pro conflicts with a number of plugins already fixed in MyEclipse, it is not possible for you to install it into MyEclipse 10 at this point.
MyEclipse does include reporting tools based on BIRT, I realize this is not the same as the report designer pro, but wanted to mention this in case you had missed them.
