i’m not able to create a web project with struts.

where should i specify the path of struts directory?

Can you be more specific about why you aren’t “Able to create a web project with Struts”. Do you mean a wizard is failing? There is an exception or you just don’t know how to do it?

You can follow our Struts guide which is here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/images/tutorials/quickstarts/struts/

or available from the Help menu.

thank you for your reply, to enable this i had to create a J2EE web project not a dynamic web project
    thanks

Oh, yes a “Dynamic Web Project” is from WTP, not MyEclipse. That means you may have conflicts and problems moving forward if you have both of these installed or may be confused about seemingly duplicate functionality.

IN MyEclipse 5.0 we actually build ontop of WTP 1.5, but we turn off the duplicate functionality so it’s not so confusing. SO if you need WTP installed for some reason, rest assured that in MyEclipse 5.0 release, it will be a very smooth integration step.

pr0grammer is correct, that will also work. Although I would point out simply creating a new “Web Project” does the same thing.
