My App was developed in the MobiOne environment. When building iOS (or Android) apps I could deploy them via an installation link via email at the end of the build dialog. My apps are for internal use only and not published in the app store. How do you distribute non-app store apps in MyEclipse?

I’m trying to understand all the pieces and parts before I convert my app to the MyEclipse platform..

    Thank you

I am doing the same thing as you, trying to get up to speed. I found a good website for sending links like the old MobiOne app center did.

    diawi.com

just upload the ipa file and you can send a link like the old days. the person’s UDID number still needs to be in the provisioning file, like before.

you can do this with any file. Worth a try.

    Thanks Dave,

However, I have to believe there is a way to do this natively within the build tool. I’m somewhat surprised that someone from the support team hasn’t weighed in yet.

    Hi Robert,

MyEclipse does not have this functionality built into it. We suggest a private server that you can upload the IPA file to and send the link that way. Of course you can always use third party services like suggested.

    Thanks,

if you are using the phonegap build then you can get the QR code to distribute the app and also the link…

Yes, if you are using the PhoneGap Build service the qr code is great to send to users. Local builds can be a bit more difficult.
