JossimaruMemberDear genuitec/mobione support staff,
I am trying to build and publish my first ipa using MobiOne software. I have followed the steps provided regarding the build process, including requesting and downloading certificates from ios provisioning portal, as well as creating a profile provisioning file and putting them in same folder etc.
There’s no problem in any of the steps during the build process, ios provisioning portal or itunes connect.
The problem arises at the final step in the Application loader in Mac, where it only states:
“unable to extract archive. please make sure users/zaid/downloads/Fadlullah.ipa is a valid zip or ipa archive”The build nr for my most recent attempt is: 2637393
I have also previously tried building the ipa file with renaming the private key and the ios_distribution certificate into my app name (as somebody stated it could resolve the problem in the forum). Other attempts had the build numbers 2632681, 2624891 and 2633555. I’ve tried many other combinations and attempts but with the same and only error message.
Please genuitec staff (Octavio, Wayne and all the other helpful members), any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!!
Josef
Unknown AuthorParticipantMake sure that the provisioning file for the App Store is not the same “ad hoc” provisioning file you used for testing.

JossimaruMemberThat seems to be the issue, as the build application was picking the old provisioning file (although I browsed to the newer one on the tab), it also keeps alternating between choosing the old certificate, provisioning or private file at every attempt I make.
I’ll keep on building until I get the right combination 😉
Will keep you posted!

JossimaruMemberThanks a lot 1thinchip!
I was definitely using the older distribution certificate during the build process, which therefore gave me those errors. Also, when I tried to submit it through the Application loader, I got the “dwarfdump” error, which was due to using an older version of the application loader. The dwarfdump error was bypassed by updating my application loader to the newest version!!!
Thanks a lot for the help guys!! 😀
support-octavioMemberThanks for following up reporting that everything is fine. Marking thread as closed.
