FYI,
I was having problems too and found an old version of the gef.jar hiding in eclipse\plugins\net.sf.jfacedbc_2.2.1.

If you are having this problem you may want to do a search for that jar in the entire plugins directoty.

Great tip! I’d forgotten that some plugins would bundle it as a jar and then export it, thus hiding the fact it’s a plugin.

eclipse don’t certificed for jdk 1.5 – You can use 1.5 in Installed JRE, but don’t for execute eclipse
