    Hi!

It seems to be a typical trouble, but I’m not able to solve it…. :o(

Breakpoints inside the JSP don’t stop execution…. I’m using

    MyEclipse 3.8.1
    Tomcat 5.0.28
    eclipse 3.0.0 and
    JDK 1.4.1.0

…the breakboints are always blue dots, and don’t become “flagged” as it seems they should…

Are there some other info I can provide to let you help me?

    Thanks and bye!

Another note: breakpoints also don’t work in .java files, not only .jsp… :o(

Ok, solved…. and the problem was really stupid: in Preferences / My eclipse / App server / Tomcat 5 / Launch, it incorretly was setted on “Run mode”, and not “Debug mode”; BTW, the myeclipse team should perhaps reconsider if “run mode” is the better default…

Good to hear you’ve figured out the issue.

Well, actually, Debug Mode *is* the default. 🙂
