Hi, i tried to debug a larger struts2-Webapp. During the debugging i made an expression in the expressions-View in the debug-perspective. The result was, that a step in the session took now much longer and eclipse did not show the variables. i ended the session and i was unable to leave the debug-perspective. Eclipse jumped always back. Only a restart worked

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

Can you please give us some more information?

1. Are you trying to debug JS or Java ?
2. Can you please clarify if the expressions are working fine in other applications?
3. Do you see any errors of interest logged in the .log file located at /.metadata/.log? If yes then please send us the .log file for further investigation. Before sending, please clear all the contents of the file and replicate the issue with debug.
4. Please also share the Webclipse version details from Help > About Eclipse > Installation Details > Installed Software tab.
