CS TanParticipantShould I continue using the latest version or the one just before this that we were working on.
support-swapnaModeratorHi,
For the errors in the application.xml, you can edit the
http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee
in the file tohttp://Java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee
. Note the uppercase J in java. You can continue working with the newer version.Regarding the deployment error post removing the EJB from the EAR’s Deployment Assembly page. Does the error still point to the EJB?

CS TanParticipant“Regarding the deployment error post removing the EJB from the EAR’s Deployment Assembly page. Does the error still point to the EJB?”
Can you please explain this more fully. I am not sure what I need to check here.
support-swapnaModeratorHi,
You mentioned that the deployment still fails after removing the EJB from Deployment Assembly. Is the error same as earlier?
Please share the console output to help us get the fresh deployment error details.–Swapna

CS TanParticipantSome small progress….
I made changes to the application.xml and there is not complain that the file cannot be found.
Please see the error logs in this link…

support-swapnaModeratorHi,
The deployment fails with OutofMemory errors. Logs report Java Heap Space problem on Websphere.
How large is the EAR? You can try increasing the heap size for Websphere via the Admin Console as suggested here : https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/samfess/8.2.1?topic=server-configuring-heap-size-application
If you have trouble changing it from Admin Console, then you can edit the server.xml to increase the heap size as suggested here : https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/how-increase-jvm-heap-size-was-serverxml–Swapna

CS TanParticipantThe EAR is 100MB. This EAR has been deployed successfully from Maven.
The heap size is at the max for the 32 bit WAS Express we are using. Just under 1.5 GBWhat about all the other messages on the console that resources cannot be found.
CS TanParticipantI tried to start the server from Myeclpse…Fail
runConfigActions script execution failed. Exit code: 1
Exception caught while waiting for runConfigActions script to complete: C:\W500\WAS\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01\bin\runConfigActions.bat
support-swapnaModeratorIs this a new installation of Websphere? You have reported the same issue earlier and this workaround helped. Can you please recheck?
For the other file not found errors, looks like they all are related to the out of space issue. How about the disk space where your workspace is located? Does it have enough space?

CS TanParticipantI will add in the empty file.
I have tried to deploy again. No more out of memory. I have also increase the disk space. But I still see lots these error.

support-swapnaModeratorHi,
I am not sure what type of components are com.belsize.sb.SB_UtilityBean and com.belsize.sb.SB_ScheduleTaskBean. Are they part of the jars that are deployed along with the Web project?
Similar issue about the resource reference binding are discussed here :
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/17449022/lookup-a-jdbc-datasource-in-websphere-8-5
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/22819567/issue-with-resource-ref-om-web-xml-failed-to-process-bindings-for-metadataCan you please clarify if the Maven EAR deploys fine to WAS 8.5.5 outside of MyEclipse? You can export the EAR from MyEclipse and compare it with the Maven generated EAR to see what files are missing.

CS TanParticipantURGENT!
=======I have just been informed that my Myeclipse license has been suspended. As we are doing this work, I have been reinstalling Myeclipse on servers to try with a clean start. And then terminating it before starting another. At any one time, only one copy of the license is used. I believe this you can verify. I had no idea that we cannot reinstall Myeclipse if we terminate earlier installation and maintaining the one seat at all time.
Please re-activate our account and advice what is the policy on reinstallation on servers.
CS
support-swapnaModeratorHi,
We have a limit on the number of activations for the license. I have increased the activation limit for now.
Are you reinstalling MyEclipse on different systems or in a single system?
For a clean start, it is not required to reinstall MyEclipse on another system. You can choose to install another copy on the same system. Delete the .deliverycenter.installs file located in your user home directory and rerun the installer to be able to install another copy to a different location in your system. For a single user license, you can operate upto two instances in the single machine and use the same license on three machines i.e maximum of 3 activations per license is allowed.
Please see the license usage section for further details : https://www.genuitec.com/docs/setup/licensing-myeclipse/#7_License_Usage_and_RestrictionsHope this helps. Let us know if you still see the problem.
