This might not be the ideal place here, but I guess it comes under “General Development” 🙂

Can anyone recommend some fast, reliable hosting for servlets (preferably cheap too!) I’m developing on Tomcat 5.5.9 / MySQL here so I’d prefer a company which will use the same. Is there ANY large firms which supply Java hosting yet?? 😕

I’m glad I chose to start developing in J2EE but I think I’ve found a downside here!! How does everyone else (who doesn’t want to use their own server) host their sites?

No personal experience with them, but they seem to do what you want.

Yeah I had a quick look at them.. They dont seem to give much diskspace and bandwidth.

I was hoping someone could recommend one which you pay for that is very fast and reliable

Then you can’t do any better the company we use to host the MyEclipse servers, Rose Hosting (www.rosehosting.com). They have lots of packages available for just about any usage. We’ve used them for years and they rock.
