I got the following error when trying to install myEclipse 7.0M2 on an Eclipse 3.4.1 classic. I am running MacOS 10.5.5 on a MacBook with 2GB of memory. How do I fix this probem?

Cannot complete the request. See the details.

    garypropp,
You will have to setup 7.0M2 with Eclipse 3.4 instead of 3.4.1. The incompatibility error is being thrown because your using 3.4.1.

I downloaded 3.4.0 and I still get the same problem.
Here is the info from About.

    Version: 3.4.0
    Build id: I20080617-2000

I also used a new work space.

    Anything else I should try?

Were you able to get plain Eclipse 3.4 to work without installing MyEclipse? Have you setup any other plugins along with MyEclipse?

I went to the Eclipse site. I then discovered a page that listed previous versions, 3.4. However, this page did not list various configurations. The current version page did showed several configurations such as Classic. Can you direct me to a page that lists a 3.4 classic configuration?

I down loaded the file given by your link for 3.4 classic. I put the download into a new folder. I created a new working directory with no files. I started Eclipse. I quit Eclipse. I started Eclipse, I then added a new installation site that pointed to the local directory containing the expanded new version of myEclipse. I then ran install. I then got the following errors.

There may be something on my computer that is causing the error but I do not have any ideas. What do you think I should try?

    Hi,
Can you go to http://www.poweredbypulse.com and grab the pulse launcher. After launching the pulse explorer, add the MyEclipse profile to it. Let me know if the problem persists.

    The install worked with pulse.
    Thanks for all your efforts.
