wangsooMemberWhile waiting to hear resolution from MyEclipe support per another thread of open ticket titled “UML2 Sequence Diagram looses names on Call / Reply Message ” on Sept 2, 2009, , I went ahead to create a few more Sequence Diagrams in the same UML2 file thru out the day. After saving UML and I closed the UML, then when I tried to open it, it cannot open with some generic error message: check input model. When I look closely on each artifact, I noticed those sequence diagrams are gone. So, I lost a whole day worth of work due to this bug. Do you have a resolution for this bug? IIf so, please tell me where I can get the resolution. If not, how to get arund this problem?
support-shaliniMemberwangsoo,
I could replicate the issue. I have raised a PR with the dev team.
wangsooMemberThanks for your response Shalini on my open ticket on “check input model” error and raised it to your development team. When do you think the fix for this problem will be available to us?
support-shaliniMemberwangsoo,
Sorry for the inconvenience.
The fix is available in ME8. Milestone release is scheduled some time soon.
wangsooMemberShalini,
How soon is sometime soon? Days, Weeks, or Months? Could you narrow down a bit so I can proactively plan ahead?
Thanks,
support-shaliniMemberwangsoo,
We are expecting a Milestone release in a couple of weeks but the official date is not yet known
wangsooMemberShalini,
Thanks very much for the planned timeaframe to release bug fix for “check input model”.
I have a couple of clarification. (1) Does this release also include the another bug that I opened ticket? Upon my opened ticket, you confirmed it was indeed a bug and you raised it to the dev team last week? The ticket title is “UML2 Sequence Diagram looses names on Call / Reply Message ”
(2) As timie is critical factor for our team, do you plan to communicate directly with me when the milestone release ME8 will be released or do I need to monitor it? If I need to monitor it, where in MyClipse website do I need to look?
