I am able to open up the terminal+ window but am struggling to find out how to type in it. If I click on it nothing happens and as far as I can see there is no way to type in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

Can you please clarify if you are seeing the ‘Welcome’ tab in the Terminal+ tab once you select the project in the box?
If you are seeing the ‘Welcome’ tab then please click on the + icon to open a new tab to type.

If you are still seeing the problem, then please share with us the screenshot of the Terminal+ view, along with the workspace log file which is located at workspace dir/.metadata/.log (change the extension to .txt and attach it here) for further investigation.

Some of our users reported problems with Terminal+ where the Anti Virus software in their machines is blocking the Terminal+ silently.

As a quick test, you can try disabling the AV and see if the Terminal+ works. If you are still seeing issues, then please let us know which AV software is running in your machine, along with the screenshot of the IDE showing the Terminal+ view or reach us via Live Chat.
