@kferrone, Sorry you are having issues with CodeMix.

Can you please clarify what you mean by not being able to open SASS Files? Does the editor not come up? If so, do you see any error in your error log when that happens?

I was talking about indented SASS which uses *.sass as its file extension. VSCode does not support indented *.sass files out of the box and you would need to install this plugin: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=robinbentley.sass-indented

Here is a quick explanation of the differences between SCSS(Sassy CSS) and SASS(Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets).

To recreate, simply create a file like test.sass and see it does not style it up. Once you have the plugin mentioned above, VSCode will properly handle sass. Unfortunately I am unable to install the plugin into codemix because it says the codemix version of vscode is too old.
