Well, I checked it on a AIX machine and it looks correct, sorry about that.

No worries, that is what we are here for.

If you are deploying it to a running app server, this is another issue that folks were having, it’s possible that the app server is actually trying to unzip the WAR as the copy operation is occuring, so it bombs out, then notices that it cannot find the web.xml file.

I am almost sure the server was stopped during deployment, so that is probably not this case. I’ll keep searching. Thanks a lot, anyway.
