Tried 3.8 GA and the problem is still there.

I decided to try to attack this from another point; I installed JBoss 3.2.5 and deployed my projects to it rather than WebLogic 8.1.3, and guess what? The changes are picked up immediately!!!

So do you guys think that this is a problem with the MyEclipse integration with the WebLogic application server that you provide, or is it a problem with WebLogic?

    Thanks,

    Cor

P.S. I realize that asking that last question might be akin to asking a salesperson if his product is any good… 😉

It is really hard to say to be honest… the key to this that really makes me think its a WL problem is that certain methods of the same class get updated while others don’t, that tells me that MyEclipse is getting the file deployed to the server, the server (classloader issue?) is not reloading the file correctly… have you tried the WebLogic forums?

If this same thing had happened with JBoss then I’d say it was definately ME, but our connector implementations are all pretty generic/similar. I think the evidence tends to point to WebLogic.

Hha, I know what you meant, but I do think the arrow of blame points more in one direction than another. Needless to say if we do find its our problem we are happy to take care of it.
