I am currently evaluating ME 8.5 for Spring. I am wondering if the bean graph view will support Spring beans that are configured through annotation, like @Controller, @Component, @Service, etc. From what I read, it looks like it can’t. Can someone please confirm? And any plan to support this feature in the future? Thanks.

    Hello,

The Spring bean graph view is actually not part of the ME 8.5 for Spring feature set. It’s part of the MyEclipse Spring Tools (http://www.myeclipseide.com/htmlpages-func-display-pid-17.html) found in the Standard Edition of MyEclipse. I can tell you that @Controller, @Component, @Service etc are definitely supported in the ME 8.5 for Spring features, such as Scaffolding and the editors that are provided under the Spring DSL in the project explorer.

I will add your request as a feature enhancement to the ME for Spring product so that it can raise awareness about what is needed in the bean graph view.

    Kind regards,
    Dave

Thanks. Is there a ticket number for this feature request so that we can keep track of it?
