[Closed] Error trying to start ME 6.0M1 after install

    Hello Riyad,

    I uninstalled jdk-6u2 and tried a new install of Fullstack. Now everything is fine. Untill now I thoght myEclipseIde uses an own javaruntime?

    The fullstack “All in One” installer actually does use it’s own JRE. If you check the installer dir, you should have a “jre” sub dir, also note the shortcut it creates on your start menu points at that JRE using -vm argument.

    Ok,

    but the only thing I can say: MyEclipseIDE 6.0 M1 did not work after the install of: jdk-6u2

    I am having the same problem here but I DID try to install from the fresh FULL installation of Eclipse and MyEclipse 6 package. I also tried the stand alone package but it is not letting me unpack it.

    This sounds like the case of a corrupt installer. Can you download the Full Stack installer once again and try setting up MyEclipse to a new location.
