I was going to add a new application server to the configured servers (JBoss), but when I go to Window->Preferences->MyEclipse->Application servers, all I see are 4 versions of WebLogic. Any ideas on how these were lost?

    TIA,

    Don

    Don,

    Your servers are disabled.
    Try :
    Windows>Preferences>General>Capabilities,
    click the Advanced button,
    expand MyEclipse Standard Tools and
enable servers you want to enable.

    Hi,

I am using my eclipse 4.1 version. I am working on multiple applications that runs on same weblogic version. So currently I am erasing and re-creating the configuration that suits the application before I begin work. It is painful for me to do it everytime if I have to work on multiple applications on a same day. I noticed that when I was working with other standalone weblogic plugins, I can preserve configuration details with a name/id tagged to it. Is there a way I can do the same with MyEclipse Weblogic Plugin or is there any workaround for this problem?

    Thanks and Regards,
    Deva.

    Deva,
If you go to your weblogic connector, click on the Launch sub-preference panel, there is a “Create Launch Configuration” button, this will take a snapshot of all the configuration options from the connector and actually create a launch configuration for you that you can run from the Run or Debug dropdown menus. That should allow you to create n number of configurations that you’d like.

    Hi,

I do not see this option at all in the launch tab. Is there something I need to do to enable this one?
Actually I am referring the one displayed in the link “http://myeclipseide.com/enterpriseworkbench/help/index.jsp?topic=/com.genuitec.myeclipse.doc/html/quickstarts/appservers/index.html”.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Deva.

    Deva,
My appologies, this is only available with MyEclipse 5.0 or later, you won’t have this option in 4.1
