I have problems getting the HibernateTool eclipse plugin from hibernate.org getting to work. Is it possible, that myEclipse and the tool do not work together?

What problems are you having specifically? Also please provide your Eclipse and MyEclipse BuildIDs (not versions).

We have integrated work from the Hibernate Tools plugin into our 4.1 releases that will be all integrated in 4.1 final release on the 15th, so maybe using the separate tool won’t be necessary then?

it seems as if the hibernate tool requires WTP installed (which interferes with myEclipse) or needs the whole JBOSS bunch installed (which I was not able to test as some plugins were missing from the download).

However the next release on the 15th seems to be good news.
