Have anyone got this working? It doesn’t seem like Sun Application Server supports exploded deployment. On OC4J we could trick it. Is there a similar workaround for SAS?

I didn’t have any problems, if you watch the server startup messages, are you seeing any errors when it tries to deploy your application? I’m working on a WAR now that I use an exploded deployment with and it’s fine. Are you using an EAR?

Hjm, I don’t think there was an option for exploded deployment when i chose Sun AS. Orders were changed so we have to run on version 8.1, so I’ll look into it next week.

To work around that issue you can always use a custom location deployment and just explode it manually to the deployment folder, just make sure you use the right one (I think on Sun AS it’s called ‘autodeploy’ or something).
