Ganesh, what versions of MyEclipse and Oracle are you using?
We Support SYNONYMS for Oracle 9.

I am using following versions:
Eclipse: 3.1M7
MyEclipse: 3.8.4 M7 Beta
Oracle DB: 10g– Ganesh

Odd that it didn’t work.
I’ll look it up in the Code and see what’s up. I will contact the DB dev for specifcs of the matter as well and reply here.

I am having the same issue as Ganesh.
We use synonyms frequently in our group and when I try to look at our synonyms in the Database Explorer, all I can see is the name of the synonyms, not the columns in each of the synonyms. And since I can’t see the columns, I can’t generate hibernate mappings for those synonyms.
We are using:
Eclipse: 3.1.0
MyEclipse: 4.0 M2
Oracle DB: 9iCould this be a problem specific to Oracle?
