I just tried the vi plugin for Eclipse. (Find it by searching for “viplugin”, sans quotes and no spaces at http://eclipse-plugins.2y.net/eclipse/index.jsp .)
It works for all editors that are derived from the text editor, it says. Alas, the MyEclipse JSP editor aappers not to be derived from the text editor. So the vi plugin doesn’t work in JSP files.
Note that the vi plugin is still at a quite embryonic stage (it doesn’t even support using space instead of l to move right). So it’s not that urgent. But it seems quite promising. I’m already looking forward to typing “:sv Navigator” to “Switch View” to the Navigator 😉

cool.. I’d like to also throw my support behind keyboard friendly navigation as a priority. 🙂
