Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Looks like you are facing dependency issues. I would recommend you a clean re-install.
1. Run the uninstaller. (You can skip this if you have already ran the uninstaller)
2. Make sure the MyEclipse Install Directory has been completely removed
2.1. Pulse Install Directory, on XP it’s under C:\Program Files in \Pulse or \Genuitec, and on Vista it’s under <USER.HOME>\AppData\Local and then under \Pulse or \Genuitec again
3. Then make sure the pulse2.locator file under <USER.HOME> is erased as well
4. Open Pulse. If you don’t have pulse download the same from http://www.poweredbypulse.com
5. Login to pulse. You can also login anonymously.
6. Choose “Eclipse-Galileo” realm from top left hand corner dropdown
7. This will redirect you to the pulse-explorer
8. Click / Expand – Ready to use Profiles > Popular
9. On the right hand pane, right click on “MyEclipse 8.0” and from the context menu click on [run]
10. This will open an installation wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps.
Pulse will automatically detect any dependency issues. Let me know how this works for you.
