I merge some code with another devlopper & tagged the version.
To be sure we were baseline (sorry for this ClearCase wording 🙂 ) I told him to simply replace his code with the Tagged version from the Repository. This means he is apparently pointing to the version & not to the HEAD.
How can I indicate to myEclipse to point to the HEAD now for further synchronizations … ?

    T,

You need to right-click on the project and do a ‘Replace With…’ and select HEAD again from the tree you’re provided, if I understand your question correctly.

Yes this is what I did ….
I missed the fact that the “Replace with …” –> “Version” meant that I could generate a patch instead of synchronizing on the “Baseline“.

The problem/risk with the solution you propose is that we needed first to take a copy of the directory structure (without the CVS directories that hold the CVS metadata’s) & re place the modified files in the newly checked-out HEAD.
To do that properly is a bit frustrating if one has modified a lot of files…

    Tx very much !
