Using Eclipse 3.3.1.1, ME 6.0.1 GA and the Eclipse CVS plugin

Not really sure which forum this really belongs in and whether it’s an eclipse or ME problem so appolgies in advance!

So, every time we open a project the .mymetadata file gets a new file date resulting in eclipse/ME thinking it needs commiting to cvs even though nothing whatsoever has changed in the actual file!

Is there a way of disabling this? – it’s dam annoying as you keep thinking every project needs something commiting when most of the them actually don’t!

    thanks in advance

There isn’t a way to disable MyEclipse from doing this, but what we’ve done (because that file is generated once and then left alone) is historically had people just add it to the CVS ignore list.

There are some edge cases we used to have that re-genning the file fixed, but it does create the false-positive with regard to SCMs; sorry about the noise.
