I was trying to try out trader example using myeclipse the deployment tab is empty.

I.e I imported all the TraderX,TraderEJB and TraderWeb in to the workspace and run the xdoclet sucessfully and made a clean build, when I tried to deploy in JBOSS Server the Manage deployment tab the project dropdown was empty…

Did you configure the JBoss application server connector as described in the Using Application Server quickstart? It’s located in the software at Help > Help Contents > MyEclipse Application User Guide or in the documentation section on the website here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/images/tutorials/quickstarts/appservers/
The server must be enabled and properly configured to deploy.

After you get that configured, try selecting your TracerX project in the package explorer then selecting the deployment manager from the toolbar. Any change in behavior?
