Crasht51MemberI would like to install MyEclipse for Spring on a PC on a network with no internet connection. We have a network with internet connectivity, but I may not install new software on PC’s on that network (i.e., Pulse). Is there a way for me to use MyEclipse for Spring given these constraints (customer imposed btw).
Thanks – Jon P.

The installation options are listed in this thread: https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/myeclipse-for-spring-8-5-installation/
Jon….unfortunately we don’t currently support an offline installer. With all the functionality that’s available in MyEclipse for Spring, the goal for initial installation options was to give the developer as much control as possible to customize the profile to include/exclude what developer wants. That’s something the Pulse excels at. Furthermore you get proactively notified up updates to any of the features you’ve installed.
In a few weeks we’re going to start looking at putting together an interim off-line installation option. It would probably be a zip file (only for windows), and you would probably lose all the automatic update options of Pulse. You will still need an Internet connection for license checking. Longer term we’re working on a friendly off-line installation option.

Niel

Crasht51MemberExcellent. Downloaded and installed on my offline machine. Thanks.

……This will be a great news. Any more progress on this off-line installation or even an interim one.
Thanks
