Scott AndersonParticipantUpdate: we’ve posted what we think is the final M6-compatible build to our QA board and are awaiting their signoff. A release should occur on Wednesday, if everything looks good.
sureshsMember2 days and counting…
Nabil SuleimanParticipantmore like a day, or less 😉
Scott AndersonParticipantA release should occur on Wednesday
As always, that’s *our* Wednesday (GMT -5). Your local Wednesday may vary. 😉
Andrew FreemanMemberScott,
Thank you for the update! I know I have asked it before, but please keep details like this coming on a weekly/biweekly basis. It really helps a lot.
thanks,
Andy
Nabil SuleimanParticipantT minus few hours!
Scott AndersonParticipantAndy & all,
The “go ahead” for the M6 release has been given so now it’s a matter of uploading to the download site and updating the website to point to the new versions. But, it will definately be today. Thanks again for everyone’s patience. Hope you like it.
James OtsMemberToday is a great day – it’s the day I’m finally able to put Java 1.4 to sleep. Thanks guys! (And I haven’t even installed it yet – I just know it’s going to be good!)
Scott AndersonParticipantLooks like some of the builds are available. Have at them! The rest will be there in a few minutes.
yunkipaikMemberWhat’s the build ID for 3.1M6?
I installed the latest, but the build date is Jan 17. (Unless I done something wrong…)

I installed the latest, but the build date is Jan 17. (Unless I done something wrong…)i think you installed a different version. Eclipse 3.1M6 was released on 01. April 05.
3.1M6 is:
Build id: I20050401-1645
yunkipaikMemberHmm…
I uninstalled MyEclipse, downloaded the latest Window’s version installer named EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_030804_3.1M6Beta.exe, and I still get:Version: 3.8.4
Build id: 200501171200-3.8.4Any idea?
yunkipaikMemberOK, I found out the problem.
Under preferenence->MyEclipse, it shows the correct version – that is, M6
Under Help->About->MyEclipse, it shows the old version ID.
Please address this in the next reelase.
Thanks for M6 beta.
Jörg EichhornMemberI just played around a bit with the myeclipse beta for 3.1m6.
Still did not run into any problems. Thanks for the beta!!
