The “go ahead” for the M6 release has been given so now it’s a matter of uploading to the download site and updating the website to point to the new versions. But, it will definately be today. Thanks again for everyone’s patience. Hope you like it.

What’s the build ID for 3.1M6?
I installed the latest, but the build date is Jan 17. (Unless I done something wrong…)

i think you installed a different version. Eclipse 3.1M6 was released on 01. April 05.

3.1M6 is:

Build id: I20050401-1645

Hmm…
I uninstalled MyEclipse, downloaded the latest Window’s version installer named EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_030804_3.1M6Beta.exe, and I still get:

Version: 3.8.4
Build id: 200501171200-3.8.4

Any idea?

OK, I found out the problem.
Under preferenence->MyEclipse, it shows the correct version – that is, M6
Under Help->About->MyEclipse, it shows the old version ID.
Please address this in the next reelase.

I just played around a bit with the myeclipse beta for 3.1m6.
Still did not run into any problems.

did you try running eclipse with -clean ?

eclipse -clean (linux)
eclipse.exe -clean (win32)
