I have installed 7.1.1-Blue-20090310 and would like to get the source code for Eclipse (i.e. Eclipse 3.4.1 Build id=M20080709-0800) so that I can more effectively debug Eclipse plugins.

For example, I’d like the source code for:

    org.eclipse.jdt.internal.core.JavaProject.class

I know that you can access the source code via CVS but that is an extreme hassle b/c it is very slow.

I am pretty sure that it is possible to get the Eclipse source code as a large ZIP file but I can not seem to find it… Any help would be much appreciated.

I realize that MyEclipse is not responsible for the Eclipse source code, but it would be really great if it was easy to get our hands on the source code for MyEclipse releases.

    Much Thanks

    Bick,

    http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/R-3.4.1-200809111700/index.php

Is a list of all downloads for 3.4.1. You will notice two source zip distributions which you should be able to use. Let us know if you need more assistance.

    Thanks Brian.

I have one other question. I am working on a plugin and it would be helpful to be able to step through the MyEclipse Blue code. Is there a way to get the source code for MyEclipse Blue 7.5?

    bick,

I’m sorry, but our product source code is not available.
