When using MyEclipse I keep many classes and other files open at the same time. I organize them in multiple tab rows. When I need to maximize the current editor I double-click on the tab.

Prior to MyEclipse 6.x.x the maximized editor covered the whole screen and it was easy to work with.

Since MyEclipse 6.x.x the editor pane would still maximize but all inactive tab rows (with editors) are still visible.

Is there any preference option or any other way to have maximized editor cover the whole screen and hide the inactive editors on other tab rows?

I’m sorry there is no option to hide the inactive editors.
