When trying to map a database table in 4.1 GA I get the following error message:
An internal error occurred during: “Generating Artifacts”.
The “Details” button is disabled, so I cannot provide more info.
This always occurs, whether in an existing Hibernate 2 or a new [Test] Hibernate 3 app.

It would help us get to the root of your problem a lot faster, please include your error log; though the details option is disabled, the stack trace does go into the log. Instructions at above location.
