I wrote the HibernateTest file as in quickstart,but when i run the file, it gives error:

“Error Creating SessionFactory %%%%
org.hibernate.HibernateException: Dialect class not found: ”

Is it because of i have not specified any dialect for JDBC Driver in Hibernate.cnf file?

You have to specify dialect in hibernate.cfg.xml.If you haven’t dialect in cfg.xml then it is reason for error.
