can you start eclipse without MyEclipse ?

try reinstall all and add option in program

<ECLIPSE_EXE> -vm <PATH_TO_YOUR_JDK15>

I don’t think you every followed snpe’s suggestion of using -vm in your shortcut:
eclipse.exe -vm C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_05\bin\javaw.exe

thank you snpe…i was able to figure it out..i changed my jdk from 1.5 to 1.4 and it started working
