I found the problem.
One of the .project folders contained a project that didn’t existed.
We are just moving to MyEclipse from WSAD.
This must have been in the .project file but never was displayed in that enviroment.
Thanks for the help on this issue.
I would recommend an enhancement.
I beleive either the tool should display this in Project tab of the Build path with Unknown project or some warning, or the deployment tool should provide a better discription of why it failed.

Thanks for getting back to us and I’m glad we managed to track down the cause of this particular problem.

You’re right that this situation could perhaps be detected and communicated in a more direct way, and I’ve raised an enhancement request, so that it can be addressed.
