I received this error when I added maven facet to a restful web service project , At first glance one would assume that I do not have write access:

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

1.Can you make sure the project is not already deployed while installing the Maven facet?

2. Can you try running MyEclipse as an Administrator (right click > run as administrator) and see if that resolves the problem?

3. If the issue persists, please share the Installation Details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
Also copy paste the contents of the .log file which is located at /.metadata/.log to help us investigate futher.
