MyEclipse version: 8.6.1
Build ID: 8.6.1-20101117
windows 7 32bit

File -> export -> jar -> select packages -> click finish button.
MyEclipseIDE is not reponding frequently. Some time works but some times desn’t work at all for long time…..

Any idea abou this issue?

I could not replicate it at my end.

Can you answer some questions for me?

1. How many packages are you selecting? Do you see the issue for 1-2 packages?
2. Do you see any errors in the IDE or in the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata folder?
3. Does the packages have many libraries ?

Can you do these steps?

1. Start MyEclipse with -clean command arg. Here is how it can be done :

2. Switch workspace and check.
