I upgraded myeclipse7M2 to myeclipse7 and start to have trouble to connect to internet to perform any plugins update. I am behind firewall and have the proxy setting the same way as myeclipse7M2. The interesting thing is that while myeclipse web browser cannot connect to internet at all, the myeclipse ajax browser works just fine.

I installed eclipse 3.4.1, the plugins update works fine. Myeclipse 7 plugins update works fine when there is no proxy server. It appears that Myeclipse 7 have trouble to work with proxy server.

Please help.

Hi

If your proxy server needs NTLM authentication, then this is the problem. I had big problems with this but they are resolved. Look around for a thread entitled “pulse proxy woes”. Basically, they have completely tied themselves to pulse but NTLM didn’t work so you’re stuck.
