thx so much man, everything works like a charm now 🙂
now i’m trying to figure out how to implement pushwoosh or any other push notification service into the app. As u can imagine this feature is one of the main reasons that ppl commission apps, so that they can push ads to the users.
any suggestions on this matter would be incredibly welcome.
    thx again 4 your help

how do I prevent the keyboard of the device, from pushing my form up ?

when I begin to fill out my form on my device, the keyboard pops up, and pushes my text items out of view.

    I’m totally lost here,

If I understand this correctly, I need to upload the app folder to a server

Ok, but how does the app form know where the server is?

On send I would like, upon submit, a new screen message, not java popup

oes anyone have an example of s simple form with name, email address, telephone and message?

    would be a BIG help

Also, when trying to complete the form, the form is bouncing up and difficult to complete?

    Hi,

Been at this for ages; tried your example and whilst it did return a screen message sent the message never transmitted?

I have tried both options provided with no succss

I want a simple form that upon submission, will give me a new screen – Thank You

Using the mobie approach does not work

Using the alternative approach not working either?

Now I’m sure that with the second approach, it may work but I’m lost? On my server but the form will not send? The message on the footer is ‘visable’? I thought thi should only show when successfuly sent?

    I need help please 😉

    @RichardOne

Sorry to hear you are struggling with your app development. I have followed along here and there and have never been clear on what “exactly” you want to accomplish and what your target environment is. I strongly suspect that we have been reacting to your feedback and filling in the blanks with our own assumptions. Then you provide feedback that something fails but with additional details that are different from our assumptions so we make new assumptions. I’m calling stop on this as we are spinning our wheels.

There is an old saying “90 percent of the solution is the problem statement.” Let’s start from the beginning with the exact problem statement and please provide every detail possible (more is better) :

    1) Is your target to build a native mobile app or a mobile webapp?
    – this is important because native apps have different services available to them than webapps that run in the device’s web browser

    2) you mention something about a server, what is the purpose of the server? What does it host?

    3) please use mobione or other UI mockup tool to create mockup of your UI and screenflow and provide screenshots with annotations for exactly what the user is expect to input and how the app will respond to it (a storyboard)

    4) last provide as much other info as you can think of (remember we can not see your display, any server code or configuration, or anything else) So any details to help us do a mind-meld with you will help get this solved.

    Hi Wayne,

Quite simply, I am trying to get a we app form to work i.e. send the content to target email address,

When the action is performed, show a new screen ‘Thank You’

Of the many solutions presented, it refers to adding files to a server in order that the form content can be sent i.e. send.php

I have tried MobiOne’s form functions but getting nowhere.

I’m trying to get a form to work on HTC and hopefully any other device that uses the app

    I’m using M 2.5M

    Does this clarify my query?

    Many Thanks

    Appriciate anyone’s guidance as I stumped…
