when i have a Java switch-block and i select this block, give a right click and choose for “source – format”, it’s formatted in one particular way. Is it possible to change this in some format that you want.

You can adjust your style settings by going to Window > Prefs > Java > Code Style > Code Formatter, please check the Eclispe docs if you have further questions.
