raichuParticipantHi,
Whenever we try to reload or redeploy application in myeclipse we frequently get the error message asApplicationName could not be deployed because it could not be completely removed in the undeployment phase. the most common cause of the problem is attempting to redeploy while the server is running , while has locked one or more files.
To correct the deployment you will need to stop the server & then redeploy the project before restarting the server.
We have started myeclipse10 in admin mode & using was 8.0.0.4
support-swapnaModeratorraichu,
This is a known issue in MyEclipse Blue 10.x and its been fixed in our later releases. I suggest you update to our latest release MyEclipse 2015. We will be going live today with MyEclipse 2015 along with Eclipse Luna release.

Hi Swapna,
Thanks for the reply. We are migrating to 2014 version. Will that solve the issue?
support-swapnaModeratorraichu,

support-piotrParticipantRaichu,
I am sorry that the upgrade didn’t help. There were several causes of that issue and some were fixed, however it looks like your particular case hasn’t. Our deployment management in MyEclipse 2014 and previous versions had serious limitations, which in some cases resulted in such failures. You can check how different deployment modes work for you (Classic, Enhanced, In-Workspace). I would also recommend you to just see how the deployment of your project works in MyEclipse 2015. You shouldn’t have any troubles migrating your workspace to 2015, as the only big change is in the servers area, which were vastly improved; especially WebSphere support. The newest MyEclipse version is still in development, however it is stable enough to be used by our users, so we have released it into public. We are going to provide updates each 3-4 weeks. If you experience any issues affecting your work you can expect them to be fixed very quickly. We are expecting a GA quality release to be available in 3-4 months, so I strongly encourage you to at least check how 2015 works for you! Let us know if you have any questions!

@Piotr
Thanks for the detailed reply. I wil try to get Myeclipse 2015 version & migrate my application. But there are various deployment related issues which we are encountering & makes it difficult to simulate proper environment in our local.
