Woops sorry, I didn’t realize how close to the end of the month we were. No not tomorrow, atleast another week for M1. We have a lot of testing to finish up.
I’m really waiting for this too. You said ‘another week’, so any chances for a release next Tuesday?
Loyal WaterMemberThe 7.0M1 should be out by next week. We are wrapping up QA this week on it.

Good to hear that. Will it be early next week (Monday, Tuesday) or at the end of the next Week?
Loyal WaterMemberEarly next week is what we are gunning for.
loomaxMemberwill this release work on a windows xp 64bit version
Robert VargaParticipantHi Nipun,

Seriously, when can we have it? 🙂

Robert

Seems it did not all go well…
lucaMorelliMembercan someone lock this thread?
i don’t think ask them every few hours if the milesotne is ready don’t help very much: i think they know they their work and what to do
loomaxMemberAnyhow — it show’s how we’re longing for a new version that is compatible with Eclipse 3.4. Eclipse 3.4 is allready out for some time but i don’t want to move to it before Myeclipse is ready.
Sure the developers know what they do – but giving them some feedback here should also give them a feeling about the importance of their work for us
Loyal WaterMemberGuys,
We are trying to get the 7.0M1 out tonight but I just wanted to let you’ll know that 7.0M1 is a port release. We have moved from Eclipse 3.3 to Eclipse 3.4 so this release is being made to make sure 7.0 works with 3.4 without issues. Majority of the features would be added in the M2 release.

Paolo DentiMemberin 7.0 version will matisse be available for mac platform too ?
Ton HuismanMemberGanimede/Eclipse 3.4 finally runs with a flawless UI (aside from bugs) on Vista (x64), current MyEclipse/Eclipse 3.3.x is barely usable on Vista x64, editor repaints are bad, settings screens don’t show complete, treecontrols are flaky, etc. most is UI stuff, though. I’m trying, but for ‘real’ development I’m using a Virtual machine running XP. Even the specific ‘Vista-ready’ Eclipse 3.3 releases don’t display properly on x64 🙁
But Ganimede fixes all these problems, so that’s why lots of ppl are awaiting the ME 7.0 release 🙂
(Vista has been available for >18 months already…)HTH
