We have a windows executable application with an embedded CEF browser.

Would it be possible to enable gapdebug to debug an application running on the same windows machine that gap debug is running on?

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi Mike,
Neat idea. We have a lot of experience with CEF from some internal work we did a while back. Unfortunately GapDebug will require a few mods to support CEF debugging as well as some changes on the CEF end. I’ve opened an enhancement request for us to track this topic going forward. Right now we can’t commit to CEF debug support yet. I’ll keep you posted if/when it gets scoped.

The pages are loaded dynamically (using ajax) and so is my Javascript. I see the pages and the js files appear in the Resources tab and I can see the content.
However, for the js files I am not able to set any break points. Likewise, I am unable to inspect the div’s in the html.

Since you are new on this thread can you confirm that you are debugging CEF? If yes can you provide more details about the version. As I shared in a previous post we have not been able to focus attention on CEF debugging. We are looking to learn as much as possible about what works and what doesn’t with CEF.
