    Hi,

we recently switched from tomcat to glassfish 2.x. now there is one difference when launched via myeclipse thats a little annoying. while tomcats console output came via stdout in reassuring black letters, glassfish screams via stderr in an alarming red at us. what is worse, i have always setup my console to only “show when program writes to stderr”. which is all the time, when i havelaunched the app server.
after all this is not an major issue, but it adds up when you have to deal with it all day long.
How can i change this behaviour?

    thanks for reading,
    lutz mueller

Environment is MyEclipse 7.0M2 on Ubuntu. Other Developers working on Windows XP/Vista with MyEclipse 6.5GA experience the same behaviour.

    Lutz,
I’m afraid there is no way of changing this behavior. I have asked the dev team to take a look at this issue and they will try to rectify this asap.
