I have a freshly installed version of Eclipse 3.2 and MyEclipse 5.0. The project directory is from a 3.1 Eclipse / 4.x ME. I don’t think that is causing this problem, but I thought I should mention it.

I have an existing project that is a ME Web project and added Hibernate 2 capabilities. I created a new plain Java project and added ME Spring and Hibernate 3 capabilities. The JVM is listed below as 1.5, but I forced the project to use 1.4.2_07.

I am trying to reverse engineer a table through the DB Browser. When I do, I get an Warning that the wizard generates 3.0 mappings and the project is a Hibernate 2 project. It then opens up the wizard, and it looks like it’s trying to do the reverse engineering to the project that was already created earlier. I’ve tried to highlight the new project, but that doesn’t seem to work.

I’m hoping I’m just missing something very simple.

    sbirnie,

When the wizard starts up, it initializes itself to last project to which you reverse engineered files.
So, since you last REed to the 2.0 project, you will see the warning message when the wizard starts.

All you have to do is click the Browse button at the top of the Wizard and choose a new Java source folder, corresponding to your new 3.0 project and proceed with the reverse engineering.
When you start the wizard again, it will have your new project pre-initialized on open.

    Hope this helps,
    Brian.
