Hi, I’m trying to get the Axis2 plugins to work in MyEclipse 2015 Stable 2.0. I have downloaded the following jar files and placed them in the dropins folder, but they never install. Has anyone else experienced this issue? How do you install them?

    org.apache.axis2.eclipse.service.plugin_1.6.3.jar
    org.apache.axis2.eclipse.codegen.plugin_1.6.3.jar

    PHS_NM,

MyEclipse ships with Axis2 tooling as part of WTP tools that many MyEclipse tools are based on. But Axis2 is not an official feature of MyEclipse and so hidden by default.

You can enable it from Window > Preferences > General > Capabilities > Advanced > expand MyEclipse Standard Tools, scroll down, turn on the ‘WTP Extras’ and apply the changes.

Please note that since Axis2 hasn’t been integrated into the MyEclipse tool set, it hasn’t been tested as part of the product.

Let us know if you have any questions.
