    Hi all,

I created a text file about.txt and I would like to add some Chinese characters into it. I failed to find the location to set the file content type of this file to UTF-8. So I have to use notepad to edit this file. Is there any place that I can configure in ‘Preference->editor’ section to change the encoding of current file to UTF-8?

    Thanks,
    Calson

Go to Windows > Preferences > General > Content Types, select Content Type as Text and select default encoding type UTF-8.
