Ken,
You seem to have somehow deleted or corrupted your .myhibernatedata file after adding Hibernate capabilities to your project. You originally said you didn’t have a .myhibernatedata file in your project – are you sure that it wasn’t hidden because of a filter in the package explorer? (Usually resources beginning with . are filtered by default).
Can you check the contents of the .myhibernatedata file now? If empty or non-existent, you have 2 options.
1) Create a new project, add hibernate capabilities to it – and move all your code to this project
2) Copy a .myhibernatedata project from another working project into your current project, then use the properties page to correct the location of the config file.
